If you haven’t heard of travel beauty brand name Ries yet, you are in for a treat. The brand, whose name is influenced by the environment “toiletries,” is the initial reusable vacation bottle partner to launch in Sephora.
The founder of Ries, Megan Graham, is a Black lady who was the moment the magnificence market director at Vogue.
Graham tells WWD, “Ries is constructed for females and persons in the way that we certainly journey. Traditionally the bottles in the beauty industry have been built on single-use, low-cost, reasonably priced virgin plastics — they are not constructed for the features that Ries supplies.”

From vogue sector to travel entrepreneur
The brand name was born immediately after Graham’s frequent packing experiences resulted in shoving her most liked beauty products and solutions “into minor plastic bottles from Duane Reade and crafting on them with a Sharpie,” she shares with WWD.
Graham was continually on the go right after beginning her initial career in Manner Pattern Forecasting. She used a large amount of time in airports, motels, and taxis and knew there had to be a better way to transport her natural beauty and hair items.
Ries bottles come in a chic forest inexperienced shade and travelers are able to personalize their bottles with labels based on the form of solutions that will go in each bottle.
The model was component of Sephora’s 2021 Accelerate cohort. In February 2022, Ries introduced with its Necessary Journey Bottle.
